After spending over 15 years in the cybersecurity field, working across various roles, and witnessing the evolution of cyber threats, I’ve developed a deep passion for protecting organizations from ever-evolving digital risks. My journey has taken me through the intricacies of threat detection, incident response, identity management, and cloud security. Recently, I decided to join Balbix as SVP of Engineering in India. Balbix is pioneering AI-powered cyber risk management, and I couldn’t be more excited about this new chapter.

Innovation & Technology: Throughout my career, especially at Oracle, focusing on identity management and security, and at Palerra working on cloud security, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges organizations face in securing their digital assets. Balbix’s platform, which uses AI to predict and prioritize security vulnerabilities before they can be exploited, represents a game-changing approach. This technology enhances the efficiency of security teams and enables organizations to take a more proactive stance against potential threats.

Cyber Risk Quantification: One of the most compelling aspects of Balbix’s approach is its focus on cyber risk quantification. In my experience, one of the biggest challenges in cybersecurity is effectively prioritizing which vulnerabilities to address first. Passion for Security Products: I am very passionate about security products and have been on both sides of the table. I’ve spent over 15 years building security products at Oracle and Palerra, and I’ve also served as an engineering leader responsible for the security of product offerings and leading Infosec teams at ShareChat, MakeMyTrip, Intuit, and Auditoria. This dual perspective has given me a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the cybersecurity space, and it’s what drives my excitement about the innovative work being done at Balbix.
