2024 has been a transformative year for Balbix. By pushing boundaries in AI and teaming up with industry leaders like NVIDIA, we’ve introduced innovations that are both powerful and easy to adopt. From groundbreaking product launches to earning recognition in key industry reports like Gartner and Forrester, we empowered global customers to reduce cyber risk faster and more effectively. Here’s a look back at the highlights of 2024 and a glimpse into what’s ahead in 2025.
This year, we launched the Balbix exposure management platform, a game-changer in proactive cyber risk reduction that introduces unified risk scoring and risk-based prioritization.
Our platform’s unified risk-scoring framework evaluates CVEs and non-CVEs, enabling security teams to consistently and clearly prioritize actions across complex environments. Risk-based prioritization ensures teams focus on the most critical vulnerabilities, enhancing overall efficiency and effectiveness. With Balbix, organizations gain confidence in managing exposures before they escalate into incidents.
This year, we proudly introduced the BX4 AI Engine at NVIDIA GTC. Balbix BX4 uses NVIDIA-powered generative AI, deep learning, and other specialized machine learning techniques to analyze millions of assets and instances of vulnerabilities. Balbix delivers real-time, actionable recommendations to reduce cyber risk rapidly.
BIX, our new generative AI-powered cybersecurity assistant, has redefined efficiency for security teams. By automating repetitive tasks, BIX enables teams to focus on strategic initiatives. Users can generate comprehensive risk reports, create and track remediation tickets, and access actionable insights, all within a seamless workflow.
From generating comprehensive risk reports to creating and tracking remediation tickets, BIX delivers actionable insights within a seamless workflow. Customers have embraced BIX for its ability to boost productivity, enhance reporting, and streamline risk management processes. Designed for ease of use, BIX integrates effortlessly into existing systems, empowering users to act on insights without disruption.
With longstanding membership in the Nvidia Inception program, Balbix has utilized NVIDIA technology for over half a decade, enhancing cybersecurity risk management. NVIDIA’s accelerated computing platform, including TensorRT-LLM and Triton Inference Server, powers BIX with lightning-fast performance, delivering complex query responses in seconds. This real-time efficiency enables dynamic decision-making and actionable insights.
NVIDIA’s technology also supercharged our AI development pipeline, reducing the time needed to train and deploy new models. From CUDA software to NIM microservices, this partnership underscores the power of innovation in addressing modern cybersecurity challenges.
This year, we also launched three generative AI solutions—BIX, Cyber Risk Assessments, and Balbix Exposure Management—on the AWS Marketplace, simplifying access to advanced cyber risk management tools and allowing organizations to accelerate their ability to prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities and exposures.
With AWS Marketplace, organizations can seamlessly integrate our solutions into their existing workflows, making advanced cybersecurity accessible to a broader audience. Discover more about our AWS offerings.

Gartner recognized Balbix as a Sample Vendor in its Hype Cycle™ report for Security Operations in the newly created Exposure Assessment Platforms (EAPs) category. The report emphasizes the importance of comprehensive exposure visibility and risk-based prioritization. Balbix is proud to lead the way in this emerging category.
Beyond EAPs, Balbix also appeared in Gartner’s Hype Cycle™ reports for Cyber-Risk Management and Managing Operational Technology, earning special attention for our Cyber Risk Quantification (CRQ) capabilities. CRQ allows organizations to gauge cyber risks in financial terms, giving security teams a new way to communicate with executives, prioritize efforts, and align with their business’s core priorities.
Gartner projects that EAPs will reach 20-50% market adoption within the next two to five years. This demonstrates market trends beyond patch-and-pray models to prioritize exposure reduction across your attack surfaces.
Balbix was featured in Forrester’s Q4 2024 Cyber Risk Quantification (CRQ) Solutions Landscape, cementing our position as a leader in the field. CRQ is transforming cybersecurity by quantifying risks in financial terms, enabling security teams to align their efforts with business objectives.
Balbix’s approach goes beyond traditional CRQ methods, integrating advanced AI capabilities to deliver actionable insights and contextualize risks. This recognition highlights our commitment to helping organizations prioritize vulnerabilities, demonstrate ROI, and meet the increasing demands of stakeholders such as boards and regulators for quantifiable cyber risk metrics.
2024 has been an exceptional year, but we’re even more excited about 2025. One of the highlights will be the official rollout of our enhanced Cyber Risk Quantification (CRQ) capabilities. This upcoming solution bridges the gap between cybersecurity and broader business goals, helping leaders take decisive, impactful actions.
