Bill Niester is Director, CSAT Solutions Architecture at Balbix. He has seen the cybersecurity industry grow from its birth to its current incarnation. Even before there was such a thing as a CISO or security manager he was building and hardening enterprise environments to protect them against an entirely new risk businesses never had to consider until then. He has held operational, strategic and organizational management roles in cybersecurity solving cutting edge security concerns for fortune 100 companies for over 20 years. He holds both a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering and a Masters in Electrical Engineering and Business from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
